- Combine the water and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the honey dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let cool completely to make a honey syrup.
- Place the fresh basil leaves into a blender and pulse briefly to release their aroma, then add the cooled honey syrup and vodka.
- Blend the mixture on high until the basil is finely chopped and the mixture is vibrant green, about 30 seconds.
- Add the ice cubes to the blender, then blend on high until the mixture becomes thick, slushy, and evenly combined, about 1 minute.
- Taste the slushie and adjust sweetness if desired—add a drizzle of honey and blend briefly if needed.
- Pour the herb-infused vodka slushie into chilled glasses and garnish with a fresh basil leaf or a sprig of herbs for presentation.
Notes
For a stronger basil flavor, let the basil and syrup sit together for 15 minutes before blending. Adjust the ice quantity depending on desired thickness.
